What the fish are already eating that day is the best way to determine what they will keep eating; if you cut open a salmon that is full of herring, then fish with a strip or anchovy. Sometimes, you???ll find shrimp or even squid; the fresher the contents, the better. This is one of the best clues to help you catch salmon on a day out.
